Frequently Asked Questions  (please read)

What types of posts are you looking for?

Wacky serves a pretty broad audience of readers with different interests and needs.  However, every post should fit the demographic of folks over 40 years old and be something they might find interesting.

Are there any requirements for posts?

  1. Yes.  Posts must be between 300 and 800 words and be formatted in Word or Plain text.  Sorry, we can’t process PDF or other formats.  Audio and video submissions are encouraged and may be embedded from YouTube or other sites.  However, you still need to include text describing material contained in these formats.
  2. Each post must contain a link to another website (preferably an authoritative website or thought leader in the area).
  3. Each post should contain a picture and several pictures are acceptable.
  4. You MUST own the rights to all material contained in your post or material must fall under fair use rules.

Is there anything else I need to provide with my post?

Yes, we ask for a picture and a brief bio for each author.  These will show up at the end of your posts.  You can provide links to your website or social networks in the bio.

Can I publish my post elsewhere?

No. we ask that authors ONLY post unique content to this site (Google makes us do this).  You can make modifications to the post and publish it elsewhere, however.  Posts must be at least 30% different.

I hope this helps and I look forward to hearing your ideas.
